Pupil Council

The School Council have chosen that any money raised from the Key Stage 1 Carol Concert donations should be shared between St. Mary's Church in Burton Latimer, who kindly let us use their church for our evening concert, and the 'Text Santa' charity.  Thank you for your generous donations.  We raised £65 for St.Mary's church and £253.93 for the 'Text Santa' charity through the Carol Concerts and 'Christmas Jumper Day'.

Both our school councillors and Meadowside Primary Parent Carer Council have decided that we should support the good cause of ‘Text Santa’ on Friday 18th December. The charities chosen by this appeal this year are Macmillan Cancer Support, Make a Wish and Save The Children. The aspiration of Make A Wish is to inspire, engage and empower the nation to make a difference and give hope this Christmas.

Well done to the School Council for planning and organising 'P' for Pudsey Day to raise money for Children in Need this year.

The School Council have this message for you - George and Melia from the School Council and Mrs Harding kindly counted the money.  Across the UK a record amount of £37,100,687 was raised on the night and Meadowside raised £419.27 through the School Council’s  ‘P’ Day idea .  The School Council thanks everyone for their donations in helping this amazing charity.
